On the Edge of Extinction

Featuring more than 500 portraits of 19th Century Native Americans, this presentation by Royal K. Sutton will be historic and informative.  Royal Sutton had the good fortune of working at Rinehart-Marsden Studio in Omaha, eventually taking ownership of 500 glass plate negatives produced by Frank A. Rinehart. The negatives were portraits of Native American Indians who were brought to the Trans-Mississippi Exposition in 1898 as an exhibition.
