The Cudahy Family Library Endowment Fund is sponsoring a cash raffle. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5 and can be purchased at the Library. The prize drawing will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 10:15 pm, at the Harvest Tasting event - need not be present to win. Prizes include:

Self-Breema is a non-judgmental, holistic practice with an emphasis on experiencing the body-mind connection, similar to a combination of T'ai-C'hi and yoga. Wear comfortable clothing and socks. Join us for a wonderful visit from New York Times Best Selling Authors Sherri Duskey Rinker and John Rocco. We will hear about their new book, Big Machines: The Story of Virginia Lee Burton.
Books will be available for purchase through Boswell Books. Along with book signing, the library will have a variety of activities for all ages to enjoy including; a modular display set up by the Milwaukee Lionel Railroad Club, light refreshments, a big machines craft, a photo prop area, a train table set up for children, and a toddler ride on train. This program is free to the public. No registration is required.

Come celebrate I Love Yarn Day with your fellow yarn-lovers at the library! View demonstrations, shop, and get crafty. Lunch will be available for purchase. Susan Knorr of Wisconsin Handweavers will be offering weaving demonstration and will have information on area weaving classes and events. Kim Ogle of Ogle Designs, St. Francis, will be demonstrating yarn spinning. This is always a fun day and a great way to meet new people with similar interests.

Join us for a fun evening in the library! Featuring distinguished wines, craft beers, bountiful food and delectable desserts from local vendors. Performance by The BriTins, Milwaukee’s premier Beatles tribute band. Includes a silent auction and raffle ticket drawing. This is our 9th annual event, benefitting the Cudahy Family Library Endowment Fund.

Misunderstood: Musicals for the Underappreciated

Bats, frogs, and other underappreciated animals take center stage in this 40-minute collection of musicals about Wisconsin animals. Concepts presented include Wisconsin habitats, animal adaptations, pet ownership, animal disease prevention, and more! Most appropriate for grades K-5 and families with children of all ages. The program is free to the public. No registration is required.
