Lauri Comstock and Rick Zutz will be holding a Revolutionary War encampment on the Library lawn (weather permitting - indoors if it's inclement). Come learn about civilian life during the Revolutionary War at this colorful scene!

Poetry Reading
Former Cudahy resident Denise Krewal will be reading from her newly-published book, Spotted Overcoat. Copies will be available to purchase at the reading, and a drawing will be held for a free copy, free e-book copy, and a multimedia art piece. We hope you can join us!

iPads Now Available to Borrow
The Cudahy Family Library has purchased iPad 2s for our patrons to check out and use anywhere in the Library. Library card holders age 18 and up may borrow an iPad for up to 2 hours per day. The iPads are pre-loaded with many fun and useful apps as well as a variety of classic eBooks. See the adult reference librarian to check one out today!
NEW! A limited number of iPads are now available for 7-day loans - take one home and get comfortable with this great technology!
The iPads were made possible thanks to generous funding from Ladish Co. Foundation and the Friends of Cudahy Library.
Discounted Movie Tickets
The Cudahy Family Library is now selling Marcus Theatre movie tickets at discounted rates. Profits from the ticket sales will benefit the Library.
Diamond tickets sell for $8 each and can be
used for any show, any time
Silver tickets sell for $6.50 each and can be used
Sunday - Friday and Saturdays before 5:30pm. Silver tickets cannot be
used for features listed as extra special attractions, special engagement,
or VIP seating.
For every 2 tickets purchased, you will receive a snack cash voucher good for $3 off concessions.
The tickets never expire. 3D shows are subject to a surcharge.

The Cudahy Family Library is pleased to offer a free shredder for public use. Located in our copy center, the self-serve, cross-cut shredder is a quiet and efficient way to destroy unwanted paper records, CD/DVDs, and credit cards.
